Big Rapids Athletics

The Big Rapids girls golf team opened up with a 20 stroke win at the first CSAA tournament at Village Green in Newaygo. The Lady Cardinals were led by Emily Waltz and Mya Duvall who were low medalists with a 91. It was a good day for us. Mya, Kennedy and Jillian all scored their personal best. The work they have put in certainly shows. I loved how they handled the difficult parts of their rounds. This was the 3rd day in a row that we played. Our 13th place finish at the TC two day gave us a lot of confidence going in to today. The TC tournament was a difficult 2 days of golf that really helped us lear a lot about where we are as a team.
