CSAA at Central Montcalm The Big Rapids Girls golf team increased their CSAA lead on Tuesday at Brookside GC hosted by Central Montcalm. The Cardinal Golfers posted a 409. Their lead is 65 strokes over Grant. Emily Waltz and Mya Duvall continue to lead the Lady Cardinals. Emily and Mya both shot 98's. Both girls birdied the par 3- 12th hole. Emily chipped in from off the green and Mya hit her tee shot to 2 feet and dropped the birdie putt. Kennedy Dubowski shot a 106-her personal best. Alivia Stern shot a 107-personal best and Journie Buwalda had a 124-personal best. All 3 of those girls are getting more consistent and their chipping and putting practice is starting to show in their scores. They are staying out of trouble with their long shots and getting it closer on their shorter shots and putts. Jillian Mishler shot a 133 but had some really good parts of her round today.
